Despite the fact we have taken great care in sourcing only the very best in quality and value we also appreciate that investing in this type of equipment online without actually physically viewing the product is a great leap of faith. There may be the doubt in your mind that you may not like the equipment you have purchased, it may not be suited to you or you may want to upgrade to a larger machine, don’t worry we want you to be 100% satisfied!
Therefore we only think it’s justified that we should offer you 30 days after your purchase to be absolutely sure you are satisfied with your chosen equipment or we will allow you to return the goods and if we can’t offer you a suitable alternative, we’ll refund your money, no question! After all if you’re not entirely satisfied then neither are we! There are of course some terms and conditions involved and these are listed below.
1. The 30 days is calculated from the date of purchase
2. Any returns must be authorised in writing by The Gecko Effect a return authority number will be issued
3. Any returns must be shipped in its original packaging, so don’t throw it out until you are 100% satisfied
4. Products not returned in original packaging will not be accepted
5. Shipping of goods must be through a reliable national freight company
6. All freight costs will be the responsibility of the customer returning the goods
7. All returned goods should be adequately insured by the customer
8. All returned products will undergo a technicians inspection
9. Any product that fails a technicians inspection will cost the customer for any repairs or replacement required
10. In the first instance The Gecko Effect will offer the customer an alternative product any difference in cost will be charged or refunded to the customer
11. Any refund payment will only be made after the technicians inspection this will be within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods
12. Any return that is not replaced with an alternative item of equipment will incur a 15% restocking fee
13. The Gecko Effect reserves the right to refuse any return
14. By purchasing a product through The Gecko Effect you agree to all terms and conditions

All products are delivered flat packed and will require some assembly.
Placing an order
If you prefer you can place your order over the phone (08)97587912 between 9am and 5pm (AWST) Monday – Friday (excluding WA Public Holidays). By placing an order by phone can speed up the delivery time by as much as 3 days. We only accept Visa or Mastercard over the telephone.
Internet sales are processed via a secure payment method powered by PayPal. You do not require a PayPal account for this option. After placing your order you will receive an email confirming your order. If there is any issue with availability, shipping or otherwise we will contact you immediately. After your order has been processed and paid for in full we will contact you with delivery details.
Delivery Terms
Please refer to our free delivery terms. Please note some remote areas will incur a surcharge if you believe you live in a remote area contact us for further information. We will deliver to many locations outside of metropolitan areas free of charge, it is our sole discretion as to whether a location is remote and therefore incur a surcharge. Any customer requiring delivery to a remote area will be contacted prior to any order being processed. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to any area we consider remote. A full refund will be made to any customer who does not wish to pay any additional surcharge to a remote area. For further information call (08)97587912.
When placing an order please provide contact telephone numbers both daytime and evening so both our sales team and our carriers are able to easily contact you. All personal information is keep strictly private.
Most orders will be dispatched within 5 working days of your order. Delivery should occur 7 – 14 days after your order we will endeavour to get your equipment to you as soon as possible. If your product is out of stock we will contact you and give you options.
We or our carriers will always try to arrive on time, but will not be held responsible for late arrival due to unforeseen circumstances.
Due to Health & Safety regulations deliveries above or below ground floor are at the carriers discretion and are not guaranteed. This includes (but not limited to) steps that are immediately outside the premises, which are required to climb in order to gain access to the property.
The freight delivery service you receive may vary among carrier companies. Since most carriers deliver to the curb side immediately adjacent to their vehicle and regard inside delivery as an extra service cost, it may be necessary for you to assist or move merchandise into your home.
If you are unable to accept or receive any shipped product for whatever reason the goods will be returned to the carriers warehouse or to the supplying warehouse. Any costs whether freight charges and/or holding costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Any cancelled orders returned through inability to deliver will be liable to freight costs and a 15% restocking fee.
On receipt of any goods a signed docket is acceptance that all parts were received in good condition, be sure to check any sign of damage to packaging if in doubt refuse delivery. Any discrepancies need to be made to The Gecko Effect within 48hrs of delivery.
